Khungkhani: My Birth Place

KHUNGKHANI, a premier chhantyal village, far from modern technology and development.

This is my birth place, KHUNGKHANI, one of the largest villages in Baglung with chhantyal

families. There are other caste too. There more Bishokarmas than chhantyals and one third magars. There is also a Nepali family living centre of the chhantyal community.

It is facing to north. Mt. Dhaulagiri is beautiful scene we can see in daily basis from here. Gulf countries and farming are major source of income. There is a Secondary school called Shree Shanti Secondary School. It is sole school where all the children get educated including me.
